Not that impressed!
These shoes are very comfortable however they mark really easily and always seem to show dirt and mud. The tread on the sole at the back of the heel area has come unstuck and now has a piece missing( I did glue it back on but it didn't last). I wear these for general use as a trainer and they have only been on a few trail walks. My last Merrell's were not fantastic either , i've been buying Merrells for about 15 years now however I think it's time for a brand change. Just need to find something as comfortable! I would not buy these again.
Smart and fashionable walking shoe.
Seemed a little tight at first so just wore them around the house for a couple of hours, then loosened up and fitted perfect, although if you have wide toes they could sometimes feel a little tight but then maybe that's me and its been incredibly hot since ive neen here but certainly something to consider. Other than that, a smart hard wearing shoe.

So far so good,...
So far so good, although I haven't done any trail walking in them yet. Just using them as a normal trainer shoe.

I bought these to replace a pair of Salomon Goretex Walking Trainers. I was a bit concerned that the sole began to delaminate when another walker stepped on my heel but they survived with careful use. Overall they lasted me 25 months which probably isn't too bad though I'd had preferred longer. The sole is quite a soft compound so this may need to be taken into account if selecting. Mostly used on hard Tarmac surfaces which may have worn them out quicker than more traditional walking terrain. I was using them more as a casual every day shoe. Hope this helps.
