Decent if on a budget

Had this bag for a couple of years, used it for lots of hikes and camps. it was good whilst it lasted, organised pockets and secure straps. unfortunately carrying anything more than 10-12kg the stitching began to break along the seams, and after about two years of use the shoulder strap has split off irreparably. decent enough bag if you're on a budget but if your planning long hikes with lots of kit i would suggest something of better quality.

Straps fell off

Yes, I'm going to say the same thing as everyone else. I bought it and used it to carry a very small food shop home and by the time I got back the straps had nearly completely fallen off. Do not buy.

Great budget rucksack

First time purchasing a proper camping rucksack so thought I'd give this budget rucksack a go (50% off at the time).
Packed it up with approx. 14-15kg of bits and bobs for my trek, 5 days hiking through the lochs and mountains of Scotland. Setting up a tent, taking all the gear out and putting it back in. So many handy little pockets here and there especially easy access outside pockets when you're on the go. Yes, like everyone else the stitching on one of the shoulder straps detached itself half way by end of the trip, stitched it back and good as new.
No other issues with the rucksack 4/5.

Shoulder strap stitching broke

I never write reviews but thought this was important to add to the existing similar reviews. After buying this product I didn’t use it for about 9 months for various reasons. On its first use of a 8 day hiking holiday the shoulder strap stitching broke. The weight was just over 10kg. I had to gaffa tape it together and struggle to use it causing my shoulder some significant pain.

Not Great

After second use the stitching came away on one of the main straps! These cannot handle any weight at all. Stay clear from buying these, very poor quality!!

Stitching came away after first use

As other reviewers have mentioned, we bought these for a DofE expedition, and the stitching between the straps and the body of the rucksack started to come away on the first use. Stitching and seamwork is extremely poor quality. Not worth the money we paid for them.

Broken Straps

Bought this rucksack for my 15 year old daughters Duke of Edinburgh walk and both straps had come away from the body of the rucksack by the end of the day. Very poor stitching and disappointed it didn't last one days walk. Wish we had read the other reviews prior to purchasing.

I would not recommend this backpack to anyone

This backpack was a disappointment, to say the least. I trusted that it would last me throughout my travels, but unfortunately, this was not the case. After just a short walk with 12kg of weight on my back, I noticed the stitching around one shoulder coming apart. By the end of that same journey, nearly all stitching had ripped away from both shoulders, rendering it unusable and unsafe. This left me with no choice but to buy a new backpack while in India, further adding to the expense and inconvenience of my travels. No one should have to face this kind of disappointment.

Straps started to give way from the main body of the pack.

I bought this for my daughter for her trip to Bali. I personally weighed the rucksack before she left and it was 9 kilos. Within days of her trip the stitching came away from both sides of the straps where they meet the main body of the rucksack. She feared they would snap
Very poor quality and I would never buy this brand again. Furthermore despite buying it online I was forced by customer services to have to return it to a shop for inspection. The member of staff was rude and straight away claimed the rucksack must have been overloaded and claimed he had never witnessed the fault previously.

Let down

Overall this rucksack is great. Great size and enough pockets for various bits of gear. There’s one pretty massive problem though, the straps ripped on the first use at the top where it joins the main sack above the shoulders. I’m afraid to take it out on another hike as I think the straps will completely go. Not cool.

Poor Quality

I wore this bag once and the straps began to rip. Wore it again as I had no other bag to use and they just got worse. Everything else about the bag is spot on but a bag with straps that can’t hold is pretty useless.

Not a great bag

I'm surprised at the other reviews. Bought this bag for a 3-day camping/hiking trip, by day 2 the straps started to rip. The extra pockets aren't stretchy, had to fight to stick my water bottles in. In fact, nearly all of the extra pockets outside the main bag are completely useless. They're small, tight. Halfway through the trip I realised I wanted a new bag, and I'm not even a professional hiker

Used this bag for 2 weeks now and it's been brilliant. Plenty of space and made well. Definitely worth the money

Very very good ruck sack. I purchased this for an overseas trip, however, using it locally first, it has loads of space and is very comfortable.
