I love the Sandals...
I love the Sandals very much. The first few times I wore the sandals with socks because the leather was a bit rough on my skin (I have very soft skin). If I wear the sandals with out socks for long periods, the top of the strap on the left sandal rubs on my left ankle bone, so I have to ear socks when going for long walks.

A comfortable and practical...
A comfortable and practical walking sandal - not cheap but I have had other Merrell footwear in the past and they have proved to be hard wearing.

I have weaknesses in one foot and significant size /width difference so these give me support I need. I have purchased similar in the past.
Supportive Merrell Sandals
These hiking sandals are comfortable right out of the box. I have a bit of arthritis in feet and ankles so need a bit more support than the average sandal provides. I originally purchased them for a walking holiday in Sardinia and they were great. I have been making good use of them on my return to. They are now my 'go-to' footwear. The material of the sole means that they are good even in the rain. They are not the most attractive sandal but they are the most supportive and comfortable ones I have owned. I am pleased.

Reading the reviews (and also a friend has purchased two pairs previously), I decided these would be fit for purpose as I do alot of walking. Also wanted something lighter than my walking boots. V V pleased with the level of support and comfort right from the moment I put them on.
Excellent service
My sandals were delivered 23 hours after ordering them at the Nottingham store and postage was free even though I paid less than £80 as they were in the sale. Very impressed ! Oh and the sandals are excellent too !

Brilliant, I love them
When I had my knee replacement I was determined to keep walking so I invested in a pair of these Merrill sandals. I wear them constantly, wash them and I'm off again. They are great for walking on uneven surfaces and very comfortable. They can be adjusted so firmly fitted with no give so I'm never nervous wearing them. I will always wear these sandals, they give me confidence when I'm off on my travels.
They are not the height of fashion but the are the Rolls Royce of sandals, great to wear and long lasting.
